Hola clase! (Hello class!) As our time comes to an end on our virtual journey, I wanted to take the time and opportunity to say gracias (thank you) for following along with me on my journey in Spain! I have loved sharing my adventures and things I have learned so far. With that being said, this could not have been possible without your amazing teacher, Ms. Jackson, as well as the Fulbright program. If you dream big and work hard, you can do anything you put your mind to! When I was deciding what I would do after graduating from college, I had a dream to move abroad. I, specifically, wanted to move to Spain to practice Spanish and learn more about the Spanish lifestyle and culture. I worked really hard, and thanks to my teachers and the support of my family, I applied to the Fulbright Program. This program has been such an impactful part of my life, and I am very grateful for this opportunity.
Since arriving in Spain, I have learned a lot! I have met amazing people, learned more about the culture and language, ate delicious foods, celebrated different holidays, and traveled to beautiful places. I have been in Spain for over three months, and I have been learning so much about this country and more about myself, too!
