Daily Life in Ghana

Introduction:

While visiting my friend's site, I interviewed a student that lives in his community. Prince is 14 years old and is in JHS 2. He likes to play football, eat fufu and talk in English. He is excited to learn more about the United States and hopes to visit in the future. 

What is your full name?:

My name is Kugblenu Prince. I go by the name Prince but I am not a Prince!

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

I live in Peki Wudome in the Volta region of Ghana. I live in a house with my mother and my siblings. We have a TV, kitchen and bathroom inside our house. 

What is your family like?:

I am the 3rd youngest out of 4 siblings. My older brother is at senior high school and my oldest sister is at the University of Professional Studies in Accra. She is in her first year, studying accounting.

How do you get around?:

I walk to the farm which is about 30 minutes away, but sometimes I take yellow-yellows to go to places further away. When going to Accra, I take a van or tro-tro.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I like to wear t-shirts and shorts, but sometimes I wear trousers. At school, I wear a uniform with a blue and white top and khaki bottoms.
