School was out this past week for the end of the third period. I took advantage of the break to see a famous spot, known for its stunning beaches and diverse jungle: Santa Marta!

This week I worked between the Rosoman municipality and the ancient ruins of Stobi. I also traveled to Skopje to meet with an attorney about ideas to help protect this 2,000-year-old city.

Six months into my Fulbright year in the United Kingdom, I reflect on the growth I've experienced overseas and express gratitude for the community that made this journey possible.
