Goodbye, Fellow Travelers! The Fulbright Journey Continues

I conclude my Reach the World blogs by sharing about the Fulbright program, through which I find myself in Indonesia, and I end on a hopeful note about this learning experience for you, my readers.

Farewell

Unfortunately the end has come. I will fly home soon to go enjoy Christmas with my family! The past weekend, I chose to go to Finland. I wanted to share and explain how I was able to travel so much.

Music in Norway and a Visit to Budapest!

I’m playing percussion in a Norwegian brass band, hearing amazing concerts and learning about Norway’s music traditions. Music here feels magical -- from Advent songs to famous composers like Grieg.

Jordanian Traditions

In this post, I share some of the Jordanian traditions I learned about and their significance in Jordanian life.

¡Es la hora de despedirse… no lo puedo creer!

Este es mi mensaje final aquí con Reach the World. Vamos a hablar de mis observaciones sobre España y a aprender más sobre Fulbright.

Thank You!

Thank you for following along my journey to Mexico!

Korean Magpie (까치)

The Korean Magpie is South Korea's national bird. This bird is also seen in a lot of Korean myths, like forming a bridge for lovers. Oooo, I'm giggling, how romantic.

Farewell from Hungary

It's been so fun sharing my experiences in Hungary with you all this semester! Thanks for your questions, curiosity and interest in my journey.

Chowing Down on Cevichochos

In Ecuador, there are food vendors on almost every street corner, selling fresh fruit, fritada (pork chunks) and more. At the park near my house, one of the most popular foods sold is cevichochos
