Traveling Throughout Europe

This past week was the second week of my fall break. I decided to pack in as much travel as I could. This past week, I was in Hamburg, Germany, Paris, France and Jyväskylä, Finland.

This field note will be about nature that I have encountered in Exeter, England. Join me on this adventure!

A Mini Dragon

I was lucky enough to spot a few monitor lizards at Singapore's Botanic Gardens. And then, just a few weeks later, I spotted another one in Thailand. What are these large lizards?

Oldest Grapes in France.

Grapes have been around for a long time, but we rarely think about the plant that produces them. Follow me in exploring the oldest vine in France and learn how grapes are important in this country.

I'm Cuckoo for Cocoa!

Ghana is abundant with numerous plants and animals. The environment has both a spiritual and practical connection to the local people, and people here never take its value for granted.

Just An Average School Week

Studying abroad is often times very exciting, as it allows you to explore new places, meet new people and see various sights. In the midst of it all, I'm still a student, too!

The Wuhan Native

There is one very distinct creature that can be found all around Wuhan. Any guesses as to what this mysterious and ever-present thing could be?

Life of a Wuhanite

After about two months in Wuhan, I'm learning more about this interesting city and the people who live here. I got to test my knowledge this week while showing a friend around town!

Snow Stars!

The Sierra Nevada National Park in southern Spain is home to various species of plant and animal life. One plant in particular is found only in the mountains of this national park.

The Jardin des Plantes

The Jardin des Plantes is the main botanical garden of Paris, in the Fifth District. It's not just full of exotic plants, though. Other surprises are in store for visitors! Let's take a look.
