Hi, everyone! My time in Spain is, unfortunately, coming to an end. I will go back to Massachusetts in about a week and a half. I'm sad to leave such an amazing place, but I'm very excited to see my friends and family back home. It’s been about four months since I landed in Europe for the first time, and it feels like I just got here! I will miss so many parts of this study abroad program, from Spain's more laid-back lifestyle, to all of my traveling and new experiences, to the amazing people I’ve met here.
I am beyond grateful for the time I have had here and for the opportunity to share my experiences with you all! I cannot encourage each of you enough to go abroad. There are many resources that make this possible, and the most important one for me was the Gilman Scholarship. The Gilman Scholarship awards students money so that they can fulfill their educational dreams. There are also other scholarships and financial aid opportunities available, and I encourage you to talk to your guidance counselors and research which scholarships would fit you best. The incredible knowledge, perspectives and experiences you will gain from going abroad make it completely worth doing the work to get there.
