The main languages spoken here are English and Irish.
The money used here in this part of Ireland is the euro.
Just like in America, the prices for a bottle of water depend on which kind you get. I found a bottle of water labeled Galway still water that was just 99¢.
The best meal of this week was shepherd's pie. It's like a casserole and it's made with meat (traditionally minced lamb). The meat is cooked to form a gravy with some peas and there is a deliciously fluffy topping of buttery mashed potatoes covering the meat to form a layer. When you take a forkful, you get both flavors in one bite.
The music that I listened to this week was Irish folk music from a concert I went to. The band I saw is called The High Kings and they tour all over Europe and even in the United States.
The most fun activity of this week was the concert. Singing, dancing and clapping along with everyone there was so much fun!
