I also tried to make pancakes, one of my favorite foods that reminds me of home, but I had a hard time as they kept sticking to the pan. They were still delicious, though!
In between classes, we listened to lots of different music in Spanish and English. I especially like Shakira!
I went out to dinner with some friends at a mirador or a lookout point. We had a beautiful view of the city skyline and could see lots of lights, buildings and mountains.
During our week-long training, we learned about leadership, entrepreneurship and business skills. These are all skills we hope to teach people back in our communities.
The hotel had giant Jenga so I played against Camden and Harry. It was a long and hard-fought game, but I ultimately lost. After that, we got to play pool.
