Thanks to one of my classes I was able to go to the Archeological Museum of Seville. I love visiting museums and learning the history and context behind paintings. This museum has a lot of history within it and it is famous for having lots of paintings from Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, a Sevillian painter that is known all over the world.
One of my favorite authors is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I just finished on his books, Love in the Time of Cholera for the second time. Right now I just started to read The Time Machine by H.G. Wells which seems to be a really fun book.
I did not play sports this week, but I run every two days, and from my experience this is a really nice place to run in due to its very good running weather and a lot of streets with enough room for runners.
This past weekend I was able to see El Derbi. This is a game between the two soccer teams that the city has to offer, Sevilla and Betis. People in the streets would be wearing either green (Betis) or red (Sevilla). People here are very passionate about their team and winning this game means more than any other game in the year because these teams are rivals.
