For example, one song on the new album called “Beware..The South London Lover Boy.”
The most fun activity was watching this year’s Boat Race that happened this past week. The Boat Race is an annual rowing competition between the schools Cambridge and Oxford. Cambridge dominated and won the Men’s Boat Race by 3.5 boat lengths, which is a lot in rowing. For the first time in 10 years, Oxford won the Women’s Boat Race!
This week I read Seven Brief Lessons on Physics by Carlo Rovelli. It’s a short book that explains in simple terms a few big, confusing topics on the nature of our universe. I read because I was inspired by NASA’s Artemis II mission that traveled around the moon to learn more about space. London might feel very far from home in Minnesota, but we all share the same planet, moon, and stars!
This week I played rugby! There is tackling in rugby like football, but the play doesn't stop after a tackle is made and no one wears pads or helmets.
This week I had a few extra days off school for “Easter break.” The UK is a Christian country so there is designated time off to celebrate Christian holidays like Christmas and Easter.
