This week, the farthest I traveled was to get to Nakhon Si Thammarat City. It is an 18-mile drive, which takes about 30 minutes. I also traveled to school every day this week. The ride to school is four miles and lasts about 10 minutes each way.
I traveled about 8,700 miles to get from Indianapolis to Bangkok. Bangkok is Thailand's capital and biggest city. Then I traveled about 470 more miles to get from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, where I live and teach!
To get to school, I drive with a teacher from my school. To get dinner and go to the gym, I ride my bike. It’s about a 5-minute bike ride to the gym.
The most interesting place I visited this week was Nakhon Si Thammarat! It is the capital city of the province where I live and is only 30 to 40 minutes away by car. I love the days that I get to spend in the city!
I don't have any other travel news from this week, but next week I will be visiting a province near Bangkok called Chon Buri. In Chon Buri province, I will meet up with other American teachers for a training to help us keep becoming better teachers. I am excited to see a new area of Thailand!
