Doctors in China

We are all busy in our own ways - with work and school, but every night we sit down to have dinner together.

How do you get around?:

I go to work with my electric motorcycle. It's the fastest and most convenient way. Also, because the motorcycle is electric, it's not as noisy as a regular motorcycle, or as smokey.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

Very typical clothing. In fact, I try to dress comfortably for work, especially my shoes. Since doctors stand on their feet all day, it is important to always be comfortable, so that you can better attend to the patients.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

On big holidays, I like to take my family to local places around Chengdu, so that they can experience the culture. For example, on the May Day holiday, we went to the amusement park in Chengdu. And the time before that, we went to Qing Cheng mountain.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We mainly speak Sichuanese, but we also speak proper Mandarin, the official dialect of China. To say hello, we say 你好 or ni hao. If you want to show respect, you should say 您好 or nin hao.

Do you have pets?:

Unfortunately, my family is too busy to have a pet. But many of our neighbors have pets, and my children spend a lot of time with them.

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

Most of my traveling have been in China, to big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. It's very expensive to obtain visas to visit other countries, so we mostly stay local.
