This week, I talked to my next-door neighbor and good friend, Gabby. Her full name is Allison Gabriela Gonzalez Uskuiza, but she likes to be called Gabby for short. She is ten years old and she loves to be outside and play with her friends. I interviewed Gabby this week and learned a lot about her and about our community.
On a normal day Gabby eats one fried egg and a piece of bread for breakfast. For lunch she either has a bowl of soup or chicken and rice. For dinner, she will have leftovers from lunch or she will have chicken and french fries.
Gabby lives with her grandma, her grandpa and her little sister Gia. She explained that her bedroom is big and pink and she has her own personal space. Gabby and Gia have a big backyard where they play all the time.
At Gabby’s house, she is in charge of cleaning her room and helping wash the dishes. Gabby is very helpful and very responsible. She also is a great big sister to Gia, who is five years younger than she is.
