I loved Ghana so much that as my fall 2023 semester for international students came to an end, I decided to stay for more weeks. In those four weeks, I attended lots of concerts, modeling shows and my local friends' homes. I also attended seminars and volunteered.

The weather in Ghana had begun to transition to a dusty, more dry season, same high temperatures of 80 - 89 degrees Fahrenheit. On this winter break, I spent a lot of time at three different beaches: one beach experience was at a resort, another was a public beach where I rode a horse and lastly a beach club.

I got a chance to explore my interests abroad by attending modeling events like Accra Fashion Week, practicing my model walk and participating in photo shoots. I celebrated Christmas with my newfound Ghanaian friends. We ate homemade Jollof chicken and fried plantain. In the evening, I celebrated at a concert venue seeing artists, Ruger and Davido. During this time, I went to a Taste of Ghana event where I saw Shatta Wale perform. Here are some photos for you to enjoy!
