I have my own room, and the apartment is only about a 15-minute walk from the university. Some of my friends live a bit further away, and it can take them up to an hour to get to KazNu in the mornings. There are also lots of stores and cafes close to my apartment, and I have had a really fun time exploring them thus far.
I am so excited to get to know you all over the coming weeks and to share more about my life in Almaty with you! Until then, пока пока (pah-kah pah-kah) which is an informal way to say goodbye in Russian!
