The Daily Life of an Australian Exchange Student

What do you do for work?:

For work outside of university, I often work in hospitality with hotels and bars, usually working on the office side rather than at the front. However, I'm starting to look at graduate jobs with the Australian government.

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

Go study abroad!! Get out of just a U.S.-centric mindset and broaden your perspective. The experience will only help you become a more well-rounded thinker as you try to understand the world and your role in it. For example, the NSLI-Y program is a great way to do a gap year in a foreign country between high school and college.
