Treaty Day in Washington honors the signing of the Treaty of Point Elliot. In Northern Ireland, the Good Friday Agreement similarly worked to make peace between two major groups.

Céilís (kay-lees) are gatherings in Ireland and Scotland that celebrate folk traditions through music, storytelling and most importantly, dance!

This semester, I don't have class on Wednesdays. This gives me a chance to relax in the middle of the week! I spent the day on the Belfast riverside and shopping a bit in the city center.
