Interview with Irish Friends!

Introduction:

Since I don't know any kids here, I asked a couple of my friends from school to answer these questions with their preferences from childhood in mind. Paulina immigrated to Northern Ireland with her family from Poland at age seven, and Julie was born and raised here! Paulina is 27 and Julie is 23 (the same age as me!).

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Paulina: Breakfast was anything from cereal, toast...something easy. Lunch was usually a ham and cheese sandwich and a juice box. Dinner was always different, we all ate at the table together and would have soup and big meals, like roasts.

What is your house like?:

Julie: Semi-detached house in a small urban town outside of Belfast. There's 2 bedrooms, a small spare room, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom.

Paulina: 4 bedroom house, I grew up with 3 other siblings, it was usually loud and chaotic!

What chores do you have at home?:

Julie: I usually help with the dishes, hoovering (vacuuming) the whole house and keeping the house generally clean from day to day.

What jobs do your parents have?:

Julie: Dad retired, mom is a law firm executive assistant

Paulina: Stay-at-home mom, dad works many jobs mostly in factories
