What main languages are spoken here?:

Darija (Moroccan Arabic), Spanish, French, and Amazight (Berber). In the north, the berber people are known as the Jbala, and they speak a dialect of Amazight known as Tarifit.

What type of money is used here?:

The Moroccan Dirham is used here.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A bottle of water costs six dirham.

What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal I had this week was rfisa. It is shredded ghifa (a Moroccan breakfast bread) with lentils, chicken, and sauce. It's delicious!  

What music did I listen to this week?:

It seems like all Morocco can listen to this week is "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran. Is that the number one song in the U.S. right now? 

What activity was the most fun this week?:

My most fun activity this week was going to the beach. There's finally nice weather, and since I am so close to the coast, I can go for an hour or so to enjoy the sun and ocean between other activities.

What did I read this week?:

I read "Milk and Honey" by Rupi Kaur, which is a beautiful poetry book. I also read "Moonglow", the new book by Michael Chabon, and "Changing My Mind", a book of essays by Zadie Smith.
