- “My mum is a cleaner, and my dad is not working because he is too old now (he is in “Rente” – retirement pay), but he used to be a “lagerlogistiker” (warehouse logistician)
What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:
- “Mostly it starts at 7:45 am and ends at 3:15 pm, there are exceptions where we can go two hours later or two hours earlier."
How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:
- “I get to school with the car or the train. I started going to school by myself when I was six years old.”
- “I walk to school, and I started going to school by myself when I was 6 or 7 years old.”
Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:
- “When I’m in school, I eat lunch in class with my mates. Sometimes I eat dinner outside. Döner (kabobs), pizza, and burgers are my favorites.”
