There was a wide range of weather this week. The week started off with a large rainstorm on Tuesday. I then experienced my first snowfall in Germany on Thursday! By Sunday, though, the sun shone brightly, melting the snow, and many people could be seen outside enjoying the warm and sunny weather.
I did not see many animals in nature due to the extreme changes in weather, but I had the chance to meet my supervisor’s dog, Cosmo.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the first snowfall in Germany! Everything looked so peaceful, and many people tried to use the snow to build small snowmen around the Institute
