When thinking about time and planning in the United States, I feel like I am a person trying to board up water. I am trying to control which direction it goes, where it pools, and how fast it runs. But In Thailand, the same ideas make me feel like I am simply floating on top of the water, letting it take me where it will and I am just learning to navigate.
