The weather this week was typical for Sorrento at this time of year. Meaning that it was in the mid-to-high 50s and not windy. This weather oscillated (changed) between being sunny and partly cloudy. It cools off in the evenings, here, dropping into the low 50s. The weather in Sorrento is pretty mild and consistent--similar to California.
This week, I saw plenty of dogs, cats, pigeons and seagulls, all of which are quite common here. I also saw a small lizard in the school garden one day at lunch. But my favorite animal I saw was a sea turtle from a field-trip my marine science class had!
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the ancient city of Pompeii.
