Plastic trash and other garbage that ends up in the oceans can also harm sea turtles by getting stuck to them. If a piece of plastic or a piece of a fishing net gets wrapped around a turtle it can hurt them. Sea turtles can also be harmed when boats run into them, so we have to to be extra careful when using boats in the water.
