Hi class, I can’t believe it’s already time to say goodbye! I’ve had so much fun showing you all my life in Peru, and I hope you all had fun following along on my journey! I am back in California and readjusting to life here. It is very different! I am happy to see my friends and family again, but I will miss the friends and family that I had in Peru.

Being a Peace Corps volunteer in Peru was such an awesome experience, and I hope that you all learned something new about the culture, the language, the land, and the people! I hope that one day you all can travel to Mexico, South America, or any other Spanish-speaking country so that you get the chance to learn about this wonderful culture firsthand.

As I reflect on my time spent in Peru, I want to encourage all of you to remember to be nice to each other, keep an open mind, and think before you act! The world is a very big place, and people act differently in different parts of the world. Being patient and kind is very important if you want to make more friends, and it's a skill that you need to have if you want to travel the world!

First off, thank you, Ms. West, for giving us the opportunity to learn from each other!
