大家好! Dà jiā hǎo! Hello everyone! My name is Ruby Zenteno. I am 28 years old, and I'm excited to have moved to Taipei, Taiwan this month to study and learn Mandarin Chinese. I am from San Bernardino, California, but spent many years in San Antonio, Texas, home to historic landmarks like the Riverwalk or the Alamo. I have six cats at home (who I miss very much!), I studied six different languages (can you guess which ones?), and I enjoy singing and dancing! When I first moved away for college, I went to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where I studied psychology and spend some time abroad in England and South Korea.
I am currently studying for a degree in International Human Resource Development (think business and working with lots of different people around the world!) with the Fulbright program while also learning how to read, write and speak in Mandarin Chinese. I am really excited to be in Taiwan where there is a lot of history, culture, nature and wonderful food to explore! I am also very happy to share my journey and learn new things together with you!
