The Seychelles are beautiful! The weather was warm with lots of sun and very few clouds. It was great weather for exploring the island, riding bikes, running and seeing the wildlife.
When I was in Seychelles, an island country off the coast of East Africa, I saw so much wildlife. It was incredible! I got to go to a farm and spend time with baby goats, cows and pigs. It was awesome. We also went snorkeling, and I saw over a dozen sea turtles! The island where we were staying is a tortoise sanctuary, so we got to spend time with them, too. We saw so many new, colorful birds and fish on our trip!
The sea turtles were definitely the coolest thing I saw this week. I had never seen a sea turtle in its natural environment before! You have to swim really quietly and quickly in order to see them, because they get scared pretty easily. I couldn't believe they were real! They were chilling out, eating lunch and vibing. I wish I had a picture, but my phone isn't waterproof.
