I think you know this one already! In Österreich sprechen wir Deutsch! Or, "in Austria, we speak German!" I'm not very good at it, though, so thankfully most people also speak English. Italian and French as other common languages. I've heard a wide variety while living in Graz.
Austria is a member of the European Union, so like many other countries in Europe, euros are the main type of currency. One euro is equal to 1.13 U.S. Dollars. So, every time I spend a euro in Austria, it's like I'm spending $1.13 at home.
You can buy a big bottle of water for less than one euro!
I've had plenty of good food this week! It's common in Austria for people to eat meat and cheese for a meal, so I've had that a few times and it's always tasty. I also had Döner Kebab for dinner one day, which is a really yummy Turkish sandwich on flatbread.
