She is Brazilian and also just moved to Bulgaria. The coffee shop had many different types of dessert, so I got an oreo cake while my friend got a pistachio eclair. There were several groups of older women in this coffee shop. As I said earlier, Bulgarians love to socialize, and often when I go to a coffee shop I will see groups of elderly people sitting there for hours.
On my way to Albania for fall break, I had to pass through Thessaloniki, Greece. Sometimes it is easy to get lost in a new city, especially one where you don't speak the same language as the people there! Unfortunately, because I was struggling to find my way in Thessaloniki, I missed my bus to Albania. On the upside though, I got to tour around a new city that I haven't been to before! I spent the day walking around old ruins, through bustling markets and next to the Aegean sea. Thankfully, I was still able to catch a later bus to Albania in the evening and it all worked out in the end.
