I got surprisingly lucky with the weather in London. Like Dublin, London is typically rainy and cold this time of year. Instead, I got sunny days mixed with some clouds (and an occasional drizzle). The sun was warm, but the air was freezing! My leather jacket and fluffy scarf were almost not enough to keep me cozy.
When I was near Buckingham Palace, where the Queen of England lives and works, I saw horses marching down the street in a neat procession. They all had fancy-coated soldiers on top, and they seemed to be going somewhere important. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to snap a good picture, because they walked off before I could cross the street to take a look. It turns out these horses are part of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, which has guarded the palace for hundreds of years.
