In Dublin, we went to see the Book of Kells which is a bible that was written in A.D. 800. It is decorated beautifully with rich dark colors. It is decorated using the insular art style, which is a mixture of the Celtic geometric art style and the Anglo style which incorporated animal and human figures into the design. Afterward, we went to see Trinity College library which looks like it should be in Harry Potter. It used to be that every book that was printed in Ireland had a copy sent to the Trinity College library for the record.
