This week, the weather in Mainz changed quite a bit! We had a mix of sunny skies, cloudy days, and some rain. The temperature changed throughout the week, too! Some mornings were as cold as 3°C (37°F), while some afternoons warmed up to around 21°C ( 70°F). Since the weather could change so much throughout the day, I have been dressing like an onion! I was wearing layers of clothing, like a shirt, a sweater and a jacket. When the afternoon gets warmer, I can take off a layer to stay comfortable. If it gets cold again, perhaps in the evening, I could just put the layers back on. Dressing in layers helps me stay prepared for whatever the weather brings.
I haven't seen a lot of different animals every day, but I have spotted some interesting ones! I have seen red squirrels climbing around and little birds flying between trees. I have seen green parrots, and I possibly saw a hawk flying overhead too.
