Seoul itself is pretty big. I went to the very edge of the city this week on the south side. I am excited to see where else I can go in the future.
So far, I have not traveled very far. I went to Incheon which is about 22 miles away. I am planning on going further later in the year, so keep tuned for that.
I walk a lot to get to places that are close, but I also like taking the metro. It is very reliable and very fast. A lot of local people also use the metro.
The most interesting place was the Express Terminal Underground Fashion Mall. At most metro stations, there are people selling clothes and full outfits for very cheap prices. But at this station, the entire basement is filled with vendors selling clothes. Prices can start at ₩3000 and typically go up to ₩40,000. They even have things that are not clothes, such as food and various kinds of gifts.
