We've traveled throughout Mexico, learned about ecosystems, celebrated holidays, and tried new foods, but now it's time to say goodbye, or hasta luego!
During my journey in Mexico, I've experienced highs and lows, as anyone would after moving to a different country with a different culture and language. During this time, I've learned that it's okay not to be okay, it's okay to ask for help and it's okay not to be completely enchanted with a new place right off the bat. That's all part of the process of adapting! We are doing the hard things, and that's enough!
Mexico is a magical place full of delicious foods, rich culture and kind people. I have met several amazing individuals during my time taking classes at my university and at my job. When you travel, you have the opportunity to explore a new country and culture through the people you meet. I encourage all of you to stay social and curious because you never know who will become your new friend!
I've had a blast taking you all around Mexico and learning together. I hope from this experience you feel excited and intrigued by Mexico and that someday, you'll visit someday yourself!
