This horse was a crossbreed, therefore it doesn't appear in the wild. It likely would not survive without a human to care for it.
The Southern German Cold Blooded horse is one of the few horses of its kind that is not on the endangered species list. However, they are likely to get bone disease. Since they are working horses, they are also at risk of becoming overworked by their owners. In this way, humans are their biggest predator because they have the ability to mistreat their horses.
