Trains, trains and more trains

I also like the fact that they have a bathroom on-board, so you never have to worry about finding a rest stop. I use a train to get to my university campus everyday. It's super easy - I walk five minutes to the train station and then take the train one stop (~7 minutes).

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Public transportation is a big part of Spanish culture. Spain is a relatively small country in terms of geography  (especially when compared to the U.S.) and train travel from one side of the country to the other doesn't take very long. For example, you can take a train from Córdoba in the south to Barcelona in the north in about six hours. This makes travel throughout Spain, either for work or vacation, fairly easy, fast and affordable.
