With the school year almost over, this is sadly my last week writing an article for you all. I have about one month left in Taiwan before I head back to the United States for the foreseeable future. Living abroad has been such a special experience for me. I have met so many amazing people and have been so welcomed here. I will really miss Taiwan's amazing night markets and food, getting to speak Chinese every day and visiting the beautiful national parks. I really hope that I will be able to go back and visit my friends in Taiwan sometime soon!

One thing that this experience has taught me is that you can do anything, whether that's learning a new language or moving far away from home. Most importantly, living in Taiwan has taught me how to care about people from all over the world. As we work on Sustainable Development Goals and promote "prosperity for people and the planet," we should be mindful of issues that seem far away. Should people who don't live near the water care about flooding? Should people who live near the water care about droughts? Of course! The more we care about issues that don't directly affect us, the better we can work as one big global team.

Your curiosity is your superpower, and I am so excited about all of the amazing things that you will do.
