Hello! My name is Sophie, and I'm 22 years old. I grew up in a town called Delray Beach in Florida and went to the University of Florida, where I majored in Chinese and Marine Sciences. However, I am not in Florida anymore. Through the Fulbright U.S Student Program, I was able to move to a really big and bustling city, Taipei, which is also the capital of Taiwan. I am a teacher at a junior high school. I teach lots of different classes, including performing arts and home economics.
I decided to move to Taiwan to improve my Chinese, the language spoken here. I also wanted to move here because it is really beautiful. Taiwan has huge mountains, gorgeous beaches, vibrant cities, and everything in between. I am excited to hike the tallest mountain in Taiwan, Jade Mountain. I am also excited to go snorkeling in the ocean and see lots of fish!
There is so much to do here in Taiwan, and I'm excited for you to take you all on my adventures!
