The main languages spoken around me were Hungarian and English. I heard some Russian at the horse show as well.
This week I used Hungarian Forints, or HUF.
A bottle of water costs anywhere between 150-300 HUF, which is about $0.75 to $1.25 in American currency.
The best meal I had this week was an a lamb tiki masala when I went out for the monthly dinner with the company for whom I am interning. We went to a really delicious Indian curry house.
This week I listened to all types of music! I heard some rock, rap, electronic, folk, and pop music.
Some fun activities I did this week included going to a horse show in the countryside, visiting an ancient Turkish thermal bath, and visiting a Christmas market. It would be hard to chose my favorite because they were all so enjoyable!
I read a Polish play for my Hungarian literature class called Tango, by Slawomir Mrozek.
