Instant or Restaurant Ramen?

Ramen is absolutely connected to the Japanese environment. In the 1950s, Japan was facing a food shortage. When Ando invented his instant ramen, everyone had access to a quick meal. Even better, it was very affordable and could be stored for a long time. People in Japan already loved eating noodles and ramen - now, they could store it in their houses and never fear food shortages again!
