I traveled into the city over the weekend to visit the mall, but during the week, my travels are usually limited to the path between where I live (in University Town) and the main part of campus.
I have traveled well over 10,000 miles! And counting!
I mainly used buses, which take me from University Town to the main part of campus. The buses are often bumpy and crowded, but I like them because they have air-conditioning!
Last week, I had the privilege of visiting the U.S. Embassy here in Singapore! An embassy is a building that represents our country and government in a different country. If I lost my passport or had questions about living as an American in Singapore, the people at the U.S. Embassy in Singapore could help me. I wish I had pictures, but they took my phone for security reasons when I first entered. We were given some goodies (including a cool pin!) that had the seal of the embassy on them!
