It has been raining so much lately that seeing even a little bit of sunshine felt like a miracle.
Because it has been raining so much, some places are starting to flood. The water level of the Salamanca river is also very high. I watch the news every day with my host mom, and we see a lot of flooding and dangerous things happening around the country. Some cities, especially the ones close to the ocean, are having a harder time. Luckily, Salamanca is safer compared to cities closer to the ocean. It's a little scary to see everything on the news, but I'm glad that we, at least, are safe.
