Traveler Bio

Hi there! My name is Subekshya Khatiwada, and this spring semester I will be sharing my life abroad in Spain with all of you. I am super excited to study abroad and step out of my comfort zone. I have never traveled alone before, so I am definitely a little nervous, but I am equally excited to experience something new and share that journey with everyone.

Right now, I live in Louisville, Kentucky. I was born in Nepal and grew up in Utah, and my family recently moved to Louisville. It has been quite a big change since there are no mountains here, but being closer to my relatives has helped me reconnect with my culture and traditions in a special way. Living in Louisville and studying at Denison have made me realize how much there is to learn about different cultures and perspectives. I look forward to sharing my experiences abroad in Spain and the cultural exchange that will take place throughout my journey.
