This week, I only traveled to Madrid, which is about 2 hours away from Salamanca. I went by train, and it was a really cool experience. In Spain trains are a big deal with the train stations being huge, almost like airports.
The farthest I have traveled so far was to Madrid, which is about a 2 hour of train ride from where I live. I hope to travel even more in the future. I am planning to visit London, France and Portugal during my time in Spain.
This week was really special for me because it was my birthday week! It was a little sad I had classes, but overall it was a busy and fun week! I got to celebrate my birthday and try good some food!
The Indian street in Madrid was really interesting! The workers were outside their restaurants trying to invite people in to eat. The environment of the street made me feel like I was actually in India for a little while. It was like stepping into another country without leaving Spain.
