Talita also looks after her younger siblings and cleans the bathroom. Vítor considers waking up early for breakfast to be a chore.
Talita and Elton's dad is a metalworker and their mom takes care of the home. Vítor and Sofia's mom is a nanny and their dad is a gardener.
As it is winter break, the kids are currently participating in a sort of summer school where they go and do activites during the day but it is not as rigid a schedule as during the school year. They reported the following: Elton and Sofia go to school at 12:50pm. Elton leaves at 6:10pm and Sofia at 5:30pm. Talita and Vítor both leave at 7am. Talita returns at 12:20pm and Vítor at 3pm.
They all get to school by walking and are allowed to do so alone.
The kids eat lunch both at school and at home because they live close. Elton's favorite food is lasanga. Talita likes strogonoff. Vítor is a hamurger kind of guy. Sofia prefers broccoli with pasta and strogonoff. Are any of these your favorite too?
All the kids speak Portuguese at school and have English programs. But the main language spoken in class is Portuguese. They say "oi" (oy) and "olá" (oh-lah) for "hello" here.
