My host brother Stipher is 8 years old and goes to the same school that I work at. We spend a lot of time together and one of our favorite things to do is play games. His favorites are uno and dominos. Here is a glimpse into his life!
I don’t like a lot of food. For breakfast I have toast with mayonnaise. And then when I get to school, I drink the school milk. For lunch, my mom packs me food because I don’t like the school food. I will normally eat grilled cheese. And for dinner, I like to have tostones and salami.
No me gusta mucha comida. Para el desayuno, como pan tostada con mayonesa. Y cuando llego a la escuela, bebo la leche de la escuela. Para el almuerzo, mi mamá me prepara la comida porque no me gusta la comida de la escuela. Normalmente, como pan tostado con queso. Y para la cena, prefiero tostones con salami.
I have a green house with 3 bedrooms inside. I share a room with my little brother, he is 2 years old. My parents have their own room and bathroom so I have my own bathroom. I have a large space behind my house to play. I have a basketball hoop and a bike that I like to ride around my neighborhood. My favorite place to hang out is at the kitchen table under the fan or in the galería (the porch) where there is more of a breeze.
