Lumela, metsoalle ea ka ("Du-meh-luh, mets-wal-ay yah kah"--Hello, my friends), for the last time! I cannot believe this is the last post I'm writing for y'all! It seems like just last week I was introducing myself and telling you about papa and moroho. Time flies!
I want to thank you all so much for welcoming me (virtually) into your classroom and for being such an engaged audience throughout this whole exchange. I am truly so impressed with you all! It is amazing how open you have been to learning about other cultures, and it made my heart happy to see you all excited to learn about a place you may have never heard of before. Even Matsepe thought it was so cool to see kids in America who wanted to learn about his home!
I hope that you've learned something from our exchange, but, more importantly, I hope you continue to learn about new places and new people throughout your whole lives. I think it's so important to learn about people who are different from you! If you stay curious and keep asking those awesome questions of yours, you're going to be a better friend, a better student, and an overall better person for it. I don't doubt this class is full of world-changers!
