Hello everyone!
My name is Tia Wilson and I am from Greenwood, Mississippi, the cotton capital of the world! During the school year, I live three and a half hours south of Greenwood, where I attend the University of Southern Mississippi and am majoring in polymer science and engineering. Going to college and meeting different types of people has shown me that there is a bigger world out there, and that is what inspired me to study abroad during my sophomore year.
Traveling to Exeter will give me a lot of "firsts". This adventure will include my first time on an airplane, my first time out of the country, and even my first time out of the southern United States. I hope that my time abroad will give me the spark I need to travel to other countries in the future.
I am so happy that I get the chance to share my experiences abroad with all of you. We're going to learn so much together!
