Well unu, the time has come for me to say farewell. But don’t worry, this isn’t a sad goodbye! My time with you has been fun, inspiring and full of good memories.
I came to Belize in May 2024 and I’ll finish my Peace Corps service in June 2026. And guess what? You have been part of my journey for four whole months! How awesome is that? I never imagined I’d make a bunch of new friends from West Virginia while living in Belize, but here we are!
Being a Peace Corps Volunteer has been one of the best decisions I have ever made because it lets me meet amazing people from all over the world, including all of you. It has helped me travel, try new things and give back to a community I care so much about.
If you’ve enjoyed learning about my travels, I hope you’ll remember that you can explore the world, too! When you get to high school and college, ask your teachers and advisors about study abroad programs. Who knows, maybe one day you will join the Peace Corps, too!
