It's a hike that takes me up and down a pretty tall mountain, so the landscape can change pretty drastically between jungle and mountain landscapes. The coolest thing I saw was the view from one of the lookout points.
Lately, there have been wildfires in my region, so the sky was pretty hazy for much of the week. A lot of people burn their agricultural fields between growing seasons, and sometimes these wildfires get out of control. The smoke has also made me pretty sick lately - I was coughing and had a sore throat most of the week. This experience gave me a different perspective on nature and how much I value it. Some things, like beautiful mountain views and good health, you don't appreciate until they're gone!
